Leads CAE's centralized Data & AI organization — 52+ professionals across five teams serving a 15,000-employee global enterprise. Owns a $10M+ portfolio spanning the full enterprise data and AI ecosystem, and authored the founding blueprint for CAE's transformation into a Frontier AI firm.

Led Data Integration, Data Apps & Reporting and Advanced Analytics & AI (16+ FTEs) inside GADM, the world's largest aviation data exchange — 320+ airlines, 40 million flights and 3 million incident records. Work was awarded the DataIQ Data & AI For Good Organization Award and Best AI in North America.

Sep 2021 — Oct 2023

Built the Big Data & AI Platform team from scratch to 12 FTEs and shipped ISAAC InSight (200 TB of IoT telemetry in Azure) plus DnAI, a $3M NSERC IRAP-funded program. Delivered SafeAI scoring, driver behaviour, truck weight prediction and a generative AI chatbot on a full MLOps platform.

Architected CAE's enterprise Data & AI platform on Azure — unified catalog, marketplace, on-demand sandboxes and fully integrated DataOps/MLOps CI-CD pipelines. Designed AI solutions for AI-driven vaccination, training schedule prediction and logistics forecasting.

Dec 2019 — Nov 2020

Technically led the AI department of a Canadian software company with teams in Quebec and Nantes, France, managing 7 AI developers and engineers. Set AI strategy for large organizations across manufacturing, construction and automation as their AI service provider.

Sep 2018 — Dec 2019

Technical lead of "Hoop", Intact's largest data science product, taking AI prototypes to production at roughly 3 million users per day across Canada. Code owner of the Preprocpype primitive data science library and contributor to CallQuality NLP/NLU and CNN document classification; received three Bravo awards.

Feb 2018 — Aug 2018

Led computer vision, video processing and image analysis for CANVAS, an interactive media and game server platform for broadcast and sports. Built real-time GAN video upscaling, 24-to-60fps frame interpolation, motion blur and artefact removal, inpainting and colour enhancement.

Sep 2016 — Jan 2018

Research scientist at the Plant Phenotyping and Imaging Research Centre, funded by the Global Institute of Food Security. Built the world's only real-time multi-spectral image registration framework for drone cameras, plus image-based crop stress detection models.

Dec 2015 — Aug 2016

Worked on Marcombox, a distributed multi-tenancy marketing and digital data management platform on a cloud-based single page application model. Responsible for backend API design, data visualization and large scale data loading capabilities.

May 2014 — Nov 2015

Developed a chain restaurant management SaaS architecture using ASP.NET Web API and a phone gap platform. Designed and built cross-platform drug pickup and delivery applications still in use at US pharmacies running VSS Port software.

Jan 2013 — May 2014

Built mobile apps for the local marketplace and led a team of 25 FTEs while training more than 25 app developers. Shipped Bangladesh's most popular ATM locator (DBBL Locator), the first official government news portal, and Beetle, a crop disease image recognition app.

Aug 2011 — Dec 2013

Led research on multiple AI projects including Project Beetle and a Bangladesh Government & A2I-funded potato crop disease detection study, plus road-accident and anomalous-driving detection. Multiple peer-reviewed papers were published from this work — see the profile on Google Scholar.
